For our second semester, Spellman is going to be featuring a Jeopardy! tournament for the students. There will be regular rounds of play, followed by semi-finals and finals. We're hoping to award an iPod to the winner of the competition. I realize that money is tight now and the school is not keen on shelling out the money for the iPod at the moment, but I'm asking that if anyone is able to make a donation, no matter how small, towards the purchase of one, it would be greatly appreciated. I've set up a Paypal button here and on the Rift website. I'll leave it active until the end of the month when the competition will be over. UPDATE: Thanks to some generous people, we got this drive off to a great start fast, but special thanks must go to Rachel Drosopoulos for picking up the tab. The kids are really going to get into the spirit of competition when it comes to this event.
