All right, there's just over a year before we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our graduation from Spellman. Some people have been asking me about the committee and my involvement. As for the latter, I will help as much as is possible, but I'm afraid I really can't commit to a high level position. Besides, I think it's only fair that others have a chance at running the show.

Which leads to the former. I'm going to set up a meeting with the school so that we can put a committee together and work out a date for the event. We need to discuss whether the event should be held at the school again or at another venue. I know there were some people who were put off by it being at the school. Now that we have the community gathered and eager for a reunion, an outside venue is a more viable option. The one thing to consider though is that it should be a reunion that is accessible to all.

Its great to see this website is still up and running.

I got an email from Mike Dicosimo in the summer. He recently got married and is stationed and presently living in Turkey. I don't know if this has changed since. Thought I would let everyone know.  

Back in my college days, I thought I was going to be a television producer. I didn't want to go the usual route of being an intern. I thought I could do something different and produced my own show on public access TV in Manhattan. It was called The Chronic Rift and it featured some class of 86 people including Judy Furnari and Keith DeCandido. We discussed science fiction, fantasy, horror, and comic art with fans and pros in the field. It ran for four years and we produced 100 episodes.

hello everyone its been a while... hope everyone is doing well..... cant believe 2 yrs have passed since the reunion...3 yrs to go to 25.... efaz

I met a good portion of the Spellman Class of '12.  That's right 2012.  They're a pretty short bunch, but they seem pretty nice.

The troublesome field isn't quite finished, so Freshman Field Day will be in October while the sophomores and juniors take the PSAT.

 For those of you with school-aged children, good luck this week.

 So, summer is upon us.
